Big City, Little Me.

Balitmore- A much larger city than Louisville, ten hours away from my new home, not even on the map from my original hometown. Densely populated cities are nothing new to me, I’m still getting used to being an drawf in a sea of giants. o_o This is the farthest I’ve traveled since arriving here, and according to Leigh, it won’t be the last.

With such good company to greet us though, who can really complain? ^__^

You must be Nova, correct? If what I’ve heard of you is true, then I’m sure those are in good hands.

Shall we look around for appropriate targets?

Watch where those damned swords of yours are swinging- I’d hate to have to drop someone with such potential over a railing somewhere.

New Places, Familiar Faces

From what gets posted here, you’d think we do nothing but travel all the time. The rest of the Bernheim meet photos are going to be added to the main site eventually, but in the meantime we skip to Otakon 2005. Next month will take us to Anime Weekend Atlanta, and then in October we might possibly be going to Sugoicon. Early next year, there will be my World Tour as well, which I somehow let Leigh talk me into. I should start demanding pay for all these public appearances, as I never agreed to them when I allowed her to publizing my history.

We met Kay once again, with her hyperactivity that puts anyone in the near vincity to shame.

Luc this time was thankfully all in one piece, and did not require the beheading of anyone to join the group unlike the short visit he had with us some time back.

Aestus visit with us came to an end- He came with us on the airplane but is now resting safety in his proper home. I doubt it will be the last time we see him however.

Kaien was also in attendance along with his short new sidekick Terranova.

Though whoever thought it was a good idea to give her grenades probably deserves to be shot. I can’t say which would was a worse idea, leaving them at home in the hands of Vikas, or giving them to a pint-sized weapons freak.

And of course….

many, many, many new faces.

Kentucky Meetup: A few Specifics
- Filed under Socialization, Special Events
It’s always good to meet some new faces in the the world, and the meet was indeed an excellent place for it. Forgiveness for being a bit slow in getting these up, and there’s still more to come after! ^^

To Carlos and Madahari: Thank you all for the wonderful gifts, that was very kind of you all! ^^ I must say, it’s a bit surprising to me to learn I’m so highly regarded- I’m sorry if I might have seemed a bit akward, I’m not exactly used to being in the spotlight. (There’s this certain little brother who tends to hog it, albeit unwillingly. This has never bothered me though, I prefer the quiet of being in the background.)

To Jeanathyn: Don’t worry, I’ll make sure I never hear of your like of me if it will make you more comfortable! ^^ Aislan doesn’t scare me off, I’m quite used to dealing with people with dispositions similar to hers and worse. Though I did want to ask you if you’d mind if I hide behind you at the next meet, should both you and the twins be there? As charming as they are, they are a bit.. rambuncous, and I fear getting my elastic snapped in two should they begin cat-fighting again. ^^;

Takeo was no problem at all, this eyetag of mine isn’t exactly something commonplace so it’s natural for people to be curious about it! I have to admit I have a soft spot for kids anyway, so I have no problems in helping to keep them entertained and happy.

Too bad that doesn’t seem to run in the family, however!

Kentucky Meet: The Overview
- Filed under Socialization, Special Events

While this wasn’t the first meet I’d attended of this size, it was the first in what’s now become my hometown of sorts.

That of course, is only one of the differences between this and the last meeting.

One of the more notable ones (which barely needs to be said) is that I have someone to hide behind…. much to my relief.
